Version 2.9 Won''t Run After Installation

I''ve been successfully running version 2.8 for a couple of years. After I installed version 2.9, the program would not run after I double-clicked the shortcut or clicked in the Start Menu. The hourglass appeared next to the cursor briefly, then nothing happened. I tried re-booting and re-installing, but got the same result.

Did you download installation from our site?

Can you please try to download and install it again? If this doesn''t help, I will add logs to see what exactly goes wrong while starting it.
