Two suggestions

Hi:

I have 2 small suggestions for improvements:

- When u keep SUO running and its monitoring for apps changing, and a new app is added, the whole window is maximized from the tray icon state to display the warning dialog to show a new app was added to the autostart entries. This is very annoying if you have SUO running as a tray icon. Could it be changed so only the warning dialog pops up and not the whole app window?

- I use MSN Messenger and Messenger Plus extension. There is some kind of fight between this two programs adding and removing msnmsgr.exe from the autostart list, resulting in many prompts from SUO about msnmsrg.exebeing added and removed. Could you add an option to ignore certain programs from being tracked? Maybe enhance the auto-removed programs facility to include options to 1) remove programs automatically 2) keep programs in the startup automatically (this could be useful for instance to avoid having an antivirus or other program u want running at all times to be removed); and 3) Exclude programs from being tracked when they are added and removed from the startup list (CTFMON.EXE from Office 2003 multi language environments comes to mind...).

I am sorry for the delay answering. We started working on 2.7 version of Startup Organizer now and we plan to have your suggestions done in this version.

There is an easy trick to preserve MSN Messenger from autostarting on your system:

Please exit MSN Messenger. Then go to Startup Organizer, select the MSN Messenger entry, right-click it and choose Find Target. Then you will have Windows Explorer window open and the Messenger .exe file selected. Press F2 and rename it to some other name, like m1.exe. Then remove the entry in Startup Organizer and you will be not disturbed with it anymore.
