OE seems to be looping through the same files

I am trying to complete downloading a large site using OE 4.9.2693 SR2. I had to restart the download a few times in order to exclude minor but huge subdirectories, to keep the download to a reasonable size and time.

I have downloaded over 450,000 files and the queue is at 88 files. The same paths and files are now cycling through the channel display in the download window.

The lower left corner shows only downloading and not parsing, the "downloaded" and "queue" numbers are not changing, the physical drive on which the temp and download folders are located has powered itself down, showing that it is not being accessed, but the "size" number keeps increasing by a few Kb at a time.

I let it cycle like this for a couple of hours before suspending to a file. Then I unchecked the a€?Suppress Web site errorsa€? box, and resumed from the file, but that didna€™t help.

What is going on, and what should I do?

Thank you very much.

I think that the site generates some error when Offline Explorer loads these links. But all sites are different and this error code may mean some temporary error. And Offline Explorer tries to get links again and again. To overcome this, please set a limited number of retries in the Options dialog - like 10.

Could you send me the .wdq and .wdqh files - your suspended download to support@metaproducts.com ? I want to reproduce this to see what is wrong. Thank you!

Oleg.
