Hello
I downloaded several pages for a trip, and now when I started up OE, all my projects were gone. The folders are still in the c:\download\ -folder, but I cannot view them at all. I`ve tried to locate the webdown.dat file, but there is not one on the whole hard drive. The version I`m using is 4.1.2347. Hopefully they are not lost, since I spent a lot of time collecting the material. Is there any way gettig the pages back to OE?

In most cases, it is easy to recover lost projects. All Projects are in the webdown.dat file, and there are many backups of that file.
Open the Options dialog | Advanced | File Locations section. Please see the Projects, Maps and Templates folder location.

Now quit Offline Explorer Pro , open Windows Explorer and browse to that folder. Select all files with the webdown filename (webdown.dat is the Projects file, the rest are backup copies) and copy them to another directory to keep them intact.

Select the most recent file with the maximum size and copy it back under the webdown.dat filename.

Start Offline Explorer Pro to see if all of your Projects are in place. If something is wrong with the Projects list, try to repeat the process with another webdown file.

Thanks for your reply.
However just as I sais in my previous post, there is not a webdown.dat file on the whole harddrive. I`ve used the search to explorer the whole hdd. No webdown.* or anything like that.

Oh and there is no "Projects, Maps and Templates folder location. ". There is only the projects folder (c:\downloads). And that folder contains the downloaded web folders. no webdown.data

Yes, because you have the standard version of Offline Explorer. The file should be in your c:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Offline Explorer folder.
