I`ve tried to capture the below 2 dynamic URLs.
URL1: http://<server name>/content/products/series.aspx?c=au&l=en&s=bsd&~line=something&~product=something
URL2: http://<server name>/content/products/model.aspx?c=au&l=en&s=bsd&~line=something&~topic=something
Although I`m able to download the pages, my filenames appear as:-
Filename1: series.aspx@c=au&l=en&s=bsd&~line=something&~product=something
Filename2: model.aspx@c=au&l=en&s=bsd&~line=something&~topic=something
How can I ensure that my filenames are shorter and at least have the extension .htm/.html?
Thanks.
By default, Offline Explorer tries to preserve filenames to replicate the original server files structure. But if you want to use shorter filenames (8+3 or Joliet-compatible) with standard extensions (.htm, .gif, etc.), pleasse select the Project and go to File | Export menu. You will be able to make the desired conversion.
For an automatic conversion after the download completes, you can use AutoExport feature, which is available in Offline Explorer Pro version.
