When attempting to download from yahoo groups, such as the photo album, also downloaded are almost every yahoosite there is, to a limited degree. For example:
auctions.yahoo.com
calendar.yahoo.com
briefcase.yahoo.com
etc.
I have no interest in all of these extra downloads.
How do I exclusively download only the pictures from the photo album.

Can please look at the previous post in the forum? Its name is "How to Download a Yahoo Group Photo Album".
If you would follow steps described there, you should get only the Yahoo groups photos site.
If this doesn`t help, please go to the URL Filters | Server section in the Project Properties dialog and select "Load only from the starting server".

I did follow the first post`s directions and with that I get many sites downloaded.
When I tried your current suggestion of "Load only from the starting server", then I do just get the photo group, but only the thumbnail icture, not the full image.
If I want to download all of the subdirectories in a groups Photo directory, do I have to do a seperate download for each subdirectory, or will downloading from the main Photo directory get me all the subs?

vwp? " if not for this forum and asking tech support these questions.
Are there clues or signs in web addresses to know that particular options are needed to be added or removed from the program to get a successful download?

I think, you should be able to get all subdirectories usiung one Project. To load big images, please go to File Filters | Images and select Load from any site in the Location box, then click OK and try to load the Project again.
I agree that it is not easy for a common user to get that site. Some sites are really tricky. What I am doing - I am look on links that I want to get and which I don`t need at all and I am trying to find common templates for each of them. I can only include desired links - I noticed that they contain lst? and wvp? in the filename on the Yahoo photos site.
In future we plan to develop a better system that will help most people to load what they want effortless. However there is a lot of work!
