I was under the impression that, with Offline Explorer, I would be able to save a site like this in its entirety so that when my subscription expires, I could still see everything that was there when I was an active member. If this is not the case, then I really have no use for this software. (It won't do me any good to have a copy of a bunch of links requiring me to log in when I no longer have an account.)
The homepage has a form requesting user name and password, so I browsed to the homepage in Offline Explorer's internal browser and entered my user name and password there. Then, in the Passwords section of Project Properties, I entered the same user name and password and selected "in HTML forms." All of my File Filters are set to "Download using URL filters settings." I'm loading all protocols and downloading files only within the starting server. The Level Limit is unchecked. The items checked in "Advanced parsing settings" are: Check files integrity, Explore all possible subdirectories, Suppress Website errors, Explore HTML Forms, and Explore Flash video links.
I'm wondering if Link Conversion is the issue with why I'm being prompted to log in whenever I click on a link within the finished project. I have it set to "Offline Conversion."
If I send you my username and password, can you offer me guidance with this site? (It's an educational science site.)
I am still trying to make improvements to have the videos work offline. I will reply immediately once I have a result.
Thank you!
