trouble downloading sharepoint site

I am a fairly new user to this tool (Offline Explorer 6.3.3819 SR2) and I'm having trouble downloading a sharepoint 2010 site with the goal of putting the site on a CD. Last year, we used the trial version of the tool without issue. This year, we needed to buy the license and upgrade the version. The problem is that last year the site downloaded and was only a few hundred megabytes. This year, the download ran for more than 12 hours and wasn't complete when I stopped it. There are several gigs of data in the download folder. The site has grown, but not that much. When I look at the Levels tab, I see expandable levels for things like Recently Modified and navigation links under every level. Does that mean Offline Explorer is downloaded each and every object linked in the navigation at every layer of the site? That would explain the enormous download. If this is the case, how do I prevent it. The site does have multiple sites and sub-sites below those sites. Thank you for your help.

I would need to look at the site to understand why it loads so long. Without that it is hard to say.

The site is publically available here: https://catalog.ufl.edu/ugrad/current/

I have set some path and file filters and set the level limit to 3, which seems to have helped. But, I don't know if I'm missing content.

Also, I'm unable to use Offline Explorer and provid non-anonymous access to the site. So, I see many extra links in the downloads associated with SharePoint ribbon objects, "recent changes", etc. It would be great if there were a way to tell Offline Explorer to not authenticate to the site.

I explored the site and it is not big. I think, Level=3 is enough to explore all deep links on it.

Non-authenticate - try to uncheck the "Use MS IE cookies" box on the Internet tab of the Ribbon.

Thank you, Oleg. I will give that a try. However, I do have a question about that as well. Since I've already downloaded the site, when I make changes to file, path or other filters, will that remove these objects in the downloaded site? Or, are those settings only good for new and updated files which means that you will have to delete the previous download, and start over with the new settings?

Offline Explorer doesn't delete files that are already downloaded. Even if they are now restricted by URL Filters changes. So, you may delete all project files if necessary and start a fresh download.
