My goal is really just to print the full page so I can take a complete set of instructions down to my workshop. This is the last of the list of issues that has been driving me nuts. Can you suggest anyway to save the full page with all the images and instructions?
I was able to add code that clicks the Load more images link. But still the images removal on scroll issue persists.
Sorry for being unable to find the solution so far.
As always, I appreciate you working on this. And I understand it may be something that canmoy be reasonably done. It kind of looks like they have gone out of their way to make the page something that can't be saved or printed. It makes no sense because they allow you to download all the images in a zip. But who knows.
Is that change you made something I could maybe test? If so, I could probably use the page source from the page you generate to write a script to build a complete local copy that I could print.
Project settings (select from the [Object] line, copy to clipboard and press Ctrl+V in Offline Explorer):
Out of curiosity, what browser do you identify as? I ask because I have seen imgur act differently based on the browser and whether you are logged in or not.
It doesn't matter the browser identity, because it uses MS IE as the Internal Browser.
First time it gave me a message that the site wanted to set a cookie. And when I said yes, it opened three instances of the web page in my Firefox browser. Second time, I got a message that a script was taking too long and asking if I wanted to cancel it. When I said no, OE crashed. The fourth time it created a local file that looked like the imgur page but had none of the pictures or comments from the project. And the last two times I've run it, it created a page that is blank except for a tiny blue sideways triangle.
Some images will be downloaded however and can be found in teh Project Map.
Can't understand, how to unhide these images on the downloaded page.
I don't know when I'll get a chance to really dig into this again. But if I find anything that might help, would you mind if I open another ticket on it? I don't want to waste your time on what is probably a one-off. But if you think there is some value in it for others, I would like pursue this further at some point when I can dedicate some time to it.
