Directory index file

Oleg,

Do you know an easy solution to this problem ?

A URL such as http://www.site1.com/docs/123456 actually resolves at the server to the following file http://www.site1.com/docs/123456/index.html

Therefor the URL http://www.site1.com/docs/123456/ (note / at the end) also resolves to http://www.site1.com/docs/123456/index.html

I have a site where both form are used depending on the source page but OE Pro treats them as different URLS and parses noth each time even though they point to the same file.

Do you know any way to remove this duplication ?

Thanks

Peter

Yes, this is a known issue and so far there is no good way to understand how a default document is named on the server.

You will get two files - index.html and default.htm in the same folder. Sorry that we cannot offer a satisfactory solution yet.
