Hey Oleg;

I use Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64Bit Version 6.1 Build 7601
and have created two Accounts (ADMIN and USER)
With Admin I only install OEP (now version 6.9.4228), and don't start it,
I have done this always this way.
When I now start OEP with USER, OEP told me, that it is a new version (6.9.4228) available, which I should have installed with ADMIN!
This is the first time that I have this problem!
Is there a problem in the registry?

Markus,

Can you please open the Help - About dialog and see if the version you run under USER is really 6.9.4228? Maybe there is some kind of installed versions mixup?

under USER it shows the old version 6.9.4208.

I would suggest you to right-click the Shortcut to run Offline Explorer under USER and choose Properties. See the location of this installed version and install the update under ADMIN to the same folder.

Hi Oleg,

I useed under ADMIN the standard installation path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Offline Explorer Pro\

The properties under "all programs" are:
End:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Offline Explorer Pro\OE6.exe"
Take out in:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Offline Explorer Pro\"

The first time I have download and installed OEP was 27.08.2015.
I have installed today, and the only file which had changed the date (29.09.2015 the others with 27.08.2015) was install.alg.

Now I have started OEP over the shortcut in "all programs" and not over the shortcut in the taskbar, which I normally use and which comes from "all programs" (the installation of shortcuts doesn't work?) and now the right version 6.9.4228 is shown???????????????????????????????
If I start OEP over the shortcut in the taskbar version 6.9.4208 is shown???

I have installed the new version several times and every time started over the taskbar and every time me was told that a new version is avaiable!

Now I will create a new taskbar shortcut;-)

Did it help to create a new shortcut? What if you would remove the old one.

I think, I know what happened - because of Windows 10 we had to name the executable file OE6.exe, instead of OE.exe in the previous version. For some reason, the shortcut was not overwritten properly by the new version installation.

Hi Oleg,

I have removed the old one at first and create then the new one.
I didn't used the dialog to create shortcuts with the installation because this didn't work for me!

You are right:
In teh installation folder I can see the OE.exe from 10.06.2015
and the OE6.exe from 27.08.2015.

May I ask you about my second question, which must be first verified by a admin?

I have a problem with a webpage where the download wouldn't stop and wanted to kbow if it is possible to create a rule to download only pages < 3.

Do you mean less than 3 web pages? Usually a Level setting allows to control how many pages will be downloaded. Can you please give me more details? Maybe a real site URL to reproduce.
