|I am using OE explorer 6.7.4007 beta
We have an intranet site that has links to a number of different webistes. A particular link produces odd behaviour. The project itself in OE never seems to fully finish. The green download arrow does not go away, but there are no longer any files in the download window being processed and the download queue count is down to 0.
When checking the download in OE, one particular link shows an entirely blank page except for an exclaimation point.
http://www.ffiec.gov/bsa_aml_infobase/pages_manual/OLM_103.htm this is the link that does not download it shows as a 1 kb file in the download directory...also opens to an exclaimation point
http://www.ffiec.gov/bsa_aml_infobase/pages_manual/OLM_101.htm this link is on the same intranet site and it downloads just fine.
Does the hanging green arrow, or ! mean anything?

|Can you try to uncheck the "Check files integrity" box in the Project Properties dialog - Parsing section? Would this make the difference?
|marc||10/30/2013 08:48 am|
|Unchecking that box has no effect. I have deleted and recreated the project with no change. I have a few other projects that seem to occasionally hang with the green download arrow, even though the download queue is clear and no files are still being downlaoded. THis happens with the file integrity check box checked or unchecked.|

|Can you please see if the lower-left corner of the Offline Explorer screen has the Parsing (XX) message while the download "hangs"? This would mean that Offline Explorer processes downloaded files to extract links to follow and change them for offline browsing.

|Yes, it does. This project that section shows parsing (354)--with check integrity unchecked. It looked like during the project the number would go up and down some during the actual download. (351) when checked check integrity. The ! link is slightly different this time in in OE it displays "! D O C T Y P E H T M L P U B L I C " - / / W 3 C / / D T D H"
I have left some hung projects sit overnight, and they are still hung in the morning. Should that parsing count be going down?
|Oleg Chernavin||10/30/2013 12:11 pm|
|It looks like an error. It should be parsing at least several files per second.
Can you please send me the project settings? Select it, press Ctrl+C and paste to the forum message.

|Here is a project that is having some issues...greeen arrow hanging. (37 parsing) in the lower left corner. I even unchecked every option in the parsing section. I have been changing many settings and options trying to get version of this site.
This project also has a link that should have been downloaded that the page just shows this "! D O C T Y P E H T M L P U B L I C" THis is the red flags tab from the source site.

|Thank you very much! I fixed this error. Please update your OE.exe file to this one:

|Thanks...that seems to have fixed the issue with that project (the exclaimation point) and I have not seen the hung green arrow during downloads since.|

|OK. Very good. Thank you!
