URL with different position of a sidebar
|Markus||09/05/2013 11:36 am|
the original URL http://wp11180286.server-he.de/gal/Bianca/4/Blau/Blue43 for example will be also downloaded with Blue43?sb=left, Blue43?sb=right, Blue43?sb=top, Blue43?sb=bottom and Blue43?sb=none which means a different position of a sidebar.
I see also files with Blau@page=2 and Blau@sb=bottom&page=2 for example.
Please excuse me but in which way I can reduced this downloads?
Because I want only to download the original site without extension ?sb=left and so on.
Thank you very much for your help!!!

|You may simply use the Project Properties dialog - URL Filters - Filename section and add the following to the Excluded keywords list:

I have another problem with this site http://wp11180286.server-he.de/gal/.
If I start a new download it seems that all pictures will be downloaded again even though I have set "download only modified files" and "check file size".
Can you help me???

|Are you sure they are really downloaded? I just checked a couple of images and the server correctly replies to each request with 304 Not Modified status:

Maybe after some time the server ignores the modified status for some its internal reason... I can suggest you to check the "Skip existing media files" box as well.

I have look for new downloaded picture and a lot of them are existing in a old version.
I have thought about to use "Skip existing media files" but meen this that only pictures etc. will not be downloaded and "HTML" files will be downloaded because someone have add a comment?? In the german version it says "Existierende Dateien uberspringen" so I thought that ALL existing files will be skipped!
Thanks for your help!

|I see now. Could you offer some better translation for it?
|Markus||09/19/2013 04:32 pm|
I think that "Uberspringe existierende Dateien" should only be replaced with "Uberspringe existierende Mediendateien".

|Thank you! I made the change.
