i just tried to copy a whole forum for offline use. For that reason i bought offline explorer pro yesterday.
But i encounter the following problems :
Many pages are not downloaded completly. Some are not downloaded at all.
What happens is the following :
1. Some relative links like "../../../clientscript/<some name>" are translated to "http://clientscript/<some name>" and similar. Some pages do work.
2. Some links OE tries to download contain simply rubbish like "http://..</ a ...@id=....". That might be a parsing problem.
What i noticed is that the website code contains snippets like
<!--[if lt IE 8]> <script type="text/javascript" src="../../../clientscript/vbulletin-threadlist-ie.js@v=414"></script><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00002l/toolsmenu-ie.css@d=1327504142" /><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00002l/forumbits-ie.css@d=1327504142" /><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00002l/forumdisplay-ie.css@d=1327504142" /><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00002l/threadlist-ie.css@d=1327504142" /><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00002l/options-ie.css@d=1327504142" /> <![endif]--><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../../../clientscript/vbulletin_css/style00002l/additional.css@d=1327504142" /> <!--ipt type="text/javascript">
