Slow start up and invisble project files

I just upgraded my computer and installed offline explorer pro 6.2. However, it seems to be running really slow. It takes a long time to initially open up. It also takes a long time to open up the 'multiple links' box so that I can pick what part of my favorites I want to import and than takes a long time to import the urls. The last one may be understandable as there are a lot of links, but I do not understand why it takes so long to load on start up.

I had finally gotten the url projects that I wanted loaded and I was organizing the folders when all the files in the projects folder suddenly dissappeared. I can randomly right click in the project view and get the properties of the different projects, but I cannot see them. If I cannot see them, I cannot work with them. I am able to see files in the map and level view, it is only the project view that I have trouble with.

I tried restarting OEPro and was able to view the project files. However, I would like to know why it did that. Also, it took 13 minutes for the start up to go through the 'Preparing toolbars' stage. This is really annoying and I would like to fix it.

The slow startup may be caused by a big amount of projects - if you have tens of thousands of them. Please try to change the Projects, Maps and Templates folder location to another place to start with an empty list for a test.

Let me know if it starts fast this way. Thank you!
