The home page of the site I've trying to download:

http://SERVER.COM/mod/resource/view.php?id=191511

(SERVER.COM - modified)

When trying to browse the resulting project the link points to:

http://127.0.0.1:800/Default/SERVER.COM/mod/resource/view.php@id=191511

When I try and browse this link offline:

Document not found
This page is not available for offline viewing. It has not been downloaded or it was removed by a user. The possible reasons for not being downloaded include: the URL was excluded due to Project settings, the document was not available online when the Project was being downloaded, or the download was terminated before being completed.

http://mod/resource/view.php?inpopup=true&id=191511

Download the missing link now and add it to the selected Project.

Offline Explorer 5.9 © 1997 - 2011, MetaProducts corp.

PHP seems to resolve the request to http://connect.SERVER.COM/p61766476/

What is supposed to happen when you click on

Download the missing link now and add it to the selected Project?

Thanks
J

It looks like the link is referenced from a script. Please give me the real URL and let me know which exact link to click on that page. I will investigate this and will make an improvement.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response.

The real URL is to my University - I'd like to download my course material which is only available behind a password protected site, which i'm not keen to give out for obvious reasons.

I'm using OE 5.9 Standard. Would it make any difference using Pro/Enterprise?

What about the feature "Download the missing link now and add it to the project"

Could this be a workaround?

When I click this link (which open up in IE 9) nothing appears to happen.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Jon

You may contact me via support@metaproducts.com and provide with the logon details. Other editions will not be an improvement for this particular site. I have to examine the script that makes this link to understand what could be done.

Oleg.
