Download with server/directory1 only plus any links on other server or same server to 1 level...

Hi

I want to setup a rule like this:

Start at http://domain1/directory1/index.html
Download anything within /directory1
Download 1 level of links to http://domain1 that are linked from pages in /directory1
Download 1 level of links to sites not http://domain1 linked from pages in http://domain1/direcotry1

If I do what would appear to be the closest thing:
URL Filters > Servers :
Load files only within starting : server
Load up to 1 link on other servers
URL Filters > Directory :
Toggled on/off "Load files only within the starting directory and below"

This does not achieve what I want...
With the directory restriction option off I get all pages on my local site.
With the directory restriction option on I get no pages from my site outside /dirctory1

How can I restrict to "all files to a directory" and also get "any page linked from those files on other servers AND this server to 1 level deep only"

Thanks

I am sorry, the only option is 1 Link On Other Servers. There is no way to get 1 link on other directories so far. Offline Explorer Pro 6.0 Beta 2 has an improvement to ignore directories restriction when loading up to X links on other servers. It should be better for you I think.

So will the ignore directory restrictions for X links also apply to the local server in my specific project configuration?

Thanks

Yes, sure. It applies to both server and directory.

Unfortunetly you are incorrect. I just tested.

It will download 1 link for any directory on other servers but not on the initial/local server.

It would be good if version 6 was able to do this for the local server as well.

Please let me know if this option will be added so I can retest.

Stephen,

I will think about this, but not yet sure about adding that setting.
