I was just wondering if you could Port this program to linux because of the sheer number of files, and the limititations of the windows filesystem, Linux would be Better in a lot of ways.

If you send me the source code i would try my best. Otherwise ill try to decompile it and do the best i can.
It would be better if the TEAM who made the program ported it though, because at this point i don't even know how to decompile a program in the first place.

I know i am an overly ambitious person, BUT i just wanted to throw the question out there for review.
Im not sure if the whole idea of lin ux is free or not, but i dont see why you couldnt sell it on linux too..!

Yes, we have plans to port to Linux and MacOS. One problem is that it is made using Delphi (pascal language) and uses many 3rd party components, which will be hard to port.

We plan to make the portable downloading/parsing core code first. This would allow to add user interfaces written in virtually any language.

There are projects of Pascal/Delphi environments compileable for other OSes and even platforms, but they are not too mature yet. So, we plan this for the next year so far. Definetely after 6.0 version release.

And what language do you use for development usually?
