Can Offline Explorer Pro download all posts and files from a Basecamp site?

Yes, it should be able to do that. If you would face problems during the download, post the details here and I will help you.

I'm trying to download our project from basecamp, but the attachments are not downloading. Log is reporting 302 Moved and passing the file because basecamp stores attachments on Amazon's servers. Here's the log entries for one of the files:

HTTPS4 - 10/28/2009 8:30:10 PM - Host connected. Waiting for

HTTPS4 - 10/28/2009 8:30:10 PM - HTTP/1.0 302 Moved
- - Location:{Amazon key stuff removed from this post}

HTTPS4 - 10/28/2009 8:30:10 PM - Download complete. Status: 302 Object Moved.

I've been digging through your docs, forums, and menus and haven't found anyway to account for moved files. Suggestions?

I think that your Project doesn't allow such files to be downloaded. Try to add the desired extensions, like .ppt to teh Project Properties dialog - File Filters - Archive section and select "Load from any site" in the Location box there.

Your suggestions did now work. However, if I copy the file url from the log and past it in the web browser, the file downloads to my computer. So, the url is valid and the system is allowing the file to be downloaded. Any other suggestions? Without this feature, I can't really use your software, so I'd like to figure it out.

Please post your Project settings here - select it, use Export - Project Settings button - Copy. Then paste it to the forum message. I will try to reproduce it and suggest on what to do.

Thank you!
