proxies for password-protected forum

I have problems when using proxies to download a password-protected forum. I already have an account for that forum. I log into the forums using the internal explorer of OE and put the account information in the project properties. However, the proxies do not use these account information during the spidering. If I do not use proxies, I can download some pages.
So how can I inform the proxies of such account information? Thank you for help.

|You don''t have to do anything special with the proxy. It will simply pass all information to the site. It is strange that when you setup proxy, you cannot download members section. What kind of proxy do you use?

|Can you give me an example of a proxy server information? I will use it to reproduce this issue.

|I made a test download of one forum where I am logged on. It worked well. However I found that at least one proxy address may output some error message instead of the real page - 1,18.104.22.168:3127
