File Name Translation

I''m curious, one of the sites I''m downloading has security, so you can''t see the pictures after a particular time, so they take the file name and add an additional extension.

Frog.jpg?token=fjkfhldhjkdjvjsdhshjnvvnjsdhflhejefnm

is the identical picture as:

Frog.jpg?token=jdfdsfdshdjlfhdjhejlghdnjnjdghlegiuvnj

just captured at a different time. Rather than fetching the files multiple times from different links, I''d like to have the ?token= removed in both the link and the raw file, so the file won''t be retrieved multiple times, AND so I can move the temporary htm files and re-retrieve any updates.

I don''t think the ability exists in OEP, nor any of the companion products but probably useful to more than just me!

Thanks,

Terry

This feature exists for a very long time. Please use the Project Properties dialog - Parsing - URL Substitutes. Add a rule:

URL:
*
Replace:
.jpg?token=*
With:
.jpg

Uncheck this rule to apply it to filenames only.
