Weird behaviour an all versions

I have a set of projects configured via folder properties to download to a network drive, say Z: while the default download location is c:\download. If I forget to map drive Z: from the server and start downloading one of these projects the download still runs fine. However it starts from the beginning again, as it can''t see any previous files. Also the files don''t actually seem to "go" anywhere, it''s like they are being discarded. They certainly don''t go into c:\download.

I would have thought that the proper behaviour would be for OE Pro to refuse to start the download and report the missing drive Z:

Yes, this is correct. I added code to recognize such situations. It will display error on the status bar when you select the Project.

Thank you!

Will this be in the next version?

Yes, you may download the updated oe.exe file already:

I replaced the standard exe with this one and I still get the problem. It ignores the missing network drive and runs the download when it shouldn''t

Can you please press Ctrl+Q and allow logging. Check Details in the Filter button of the Log window. Then please reproduce the problem and post the log here. Thank you!

Just downloaded the latest version today and this problem seems to be back. If I start a download without the network drive mapped the download starts anyway - I have no idea where it puts the files!

And what does the log say?

Nothing in the logs, no errors. Looks normal with lots of "Download Complete" messages.

The log gives me something like this:

HTTP0 - 21.10.2008 20:46:45 - Download complete.
QUEUE - 21.10.2008 20:46:45 - Parsing (0). http://metaproducts.com/
ERROR - 21.10.2008 20:46:46 - Error creating file: v:\OE\metaproducts.com\default.htm Error code=00000003 Path not found Attempts=0
QUEUE - 21.10.2008 20:46:46 - Parsing end.
QUEUE - 21.10.2008 20:46:46 - Parsing files added.

Then download stops because of the error.

V: drive doesn''t exist at all on my test system. Can you make the detaled log and post it here?

Oleg.
