I've lost all my projects after a system crash in OE (but not on the harddisc, there are all *.map existent). I tried to recover them copying all existent webdown.*, but none worked.
Why OE doesn't use the existent *.map files? And what problem makes the webdown foles. They are big enough, and all seems stored. What can i do.
I use OE since years, but such a problem never happend. Must I change to another software? I have developed about Tousand projects and I'm still missing them!
I:m using the latest OE and Windows 98.

|I am very sorry. We are still unable to find out some reasons why this corruption happens. However there are about 10 backup copies of the Projects file (webdown.*) and in most cases it is more than enough to restore.
Map files do not contain Project settings. Only the list of files that were downloaded for each of the Projects.
