usb key

Hello,

I have a usb key for a password protected website.

When I plug the usb key in, an Internet Explorer page automatically opens with the login details already in the username and password fields, and I click to login.

But, of course I want to be able to download the site through OE pro and need to have this login page open in OE pro. It doesn't. If copy the url across into OE pro I just get the basic url without the login details, and these cannot be input manually.

Is there a workaround for this?

Many thanks,

Tony.

I am afraid, not. You will be able to access all downloaded pages directly or via Map and the password will be not asked. There is no such security for downloaded sites yet. Sorry.

Hi Oleg,

I don't quite understand your answer. Maybe you don't understand my question?

Maybe I need to rephrase:

The problem is I cannot get the website url to open in the OEpro browser, so I can't download it.

The website is security protected using a usb key. When I put the usb key into the usb port, an internet explorer window with login details opens automatically.

But I need this to open in OEpro, or to transfer it across somehow.

Many thanks,

Tony.

I see. If you can browse the site (after USB key is inserted) in the Internal Browser of Offline Explorer, then you should be able to download it. You may also check the NTLM box in the Options dialog - Proxy section.

That's the problem Oleg. I cannot open the site in the internal browser.

Well, frankly, I have no idea on what to try here. I haven't worked with such sites yet.

Hi Oleg,

Yup - thought this was a tricky one.

I think we can get an extra copy of the key (but might take a few weeks).

We could lend it too you if you would like to try upgrading the software to be able to download such sites.

Would that be of interest to you?

many thanks,

Tony.
