Confused about level limit settings

I can't seem to find the right combination of setting to download what I want. I want to be able to download my entire website and ONE level down of the links on my site to other sites -- that is just a single page that my site links to, and no deeper.

Every combination I try either gives all the pages on my site but only a link to the pages on other sites (in other words the Explorer Pro message to "click here to download") or gives me upmteen hundreds of pages deeper into the sites I link to from my site.

I find it confusing to have both a Level Limit setting and and URL filters setting, in two different place no the less. It's difficult to know when to use one versus the other. Please tell me what is the relationship between the Project level limit setting and the URL filters setting, as in these areas of Project Properties, and in particular how to use these setting to achieve the above.

Sorry for the delay. I think you need to use URL Filters - Server -
Load from the starting server and allow Load up to 1 links on other servers.
