Can't download pics URL generated by javascript

Hello Oleg

I wangt to download pics from a site,but the real pic URLs are generated by complex javascript,and OE can't download them.
But OE can download pic thumbs,e.g. "www.abc.com/12345_thumb.jpg", and in fact, the real pic ULR is "www.abc.com/12345.jpg".
So my question is, how can i replace "_thumb.jpg" in URLs by ".jpg" ,in order to make OE directly download the real URLs?

If it is that simple, try to use URL Substitutes in Properties - Advanced. You can create a rule:

URL:
*
Replace:
"_thumb.jpg
With:
(keep this field empty)

Wow it works,it's a powerful function! thank you very much Oleg.

Why did't I find that function myself :).

One more question,if I want to download both the fullsize images and the thumbs,I must download two times,first time without URL substitute ,second time with URL substitute, and I can't download them same time,right?

You can also try to load the big images without URL Substitutes - if there are complex scripts are involved, you can try to allow script calculations and download the site again.
