Abstract files not downloading

Hi Oleg:

Could you have a go at this site? It is an online journal and I am having trouble capturing the Abstracts to the articles.

If you choose an article in one of this issues (under the "HTML" link), you will see a right hand frame. In that frame you will see a link to "Abstract" . I am not having any success grabbing those Abstract pages.

Also, and I don't know if this is a related or a separate problem, a few other navigational links such as "About" & "Search" are not being made in my downloaded version. I have to adjust the coding to include a file name "default.htm".

I have tried exporting with "Use standard extensions..." and without, but it doesn't make a difference.

Any help you could offer would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Patricia

I was able to load it well and it browses correctly inside Offline Explorer. I published the Project that loads a part of the site. You can find it using the Tools - Published Projects menu - Government section.

Hi Oleg:
I should have mentioned that I need the project to view properly outside of MetaPro. The work I do creates versions of downloaded websites for the general public to view with a standard web browser.

I wanted to try your project but I couldn't find it in the Government section as you described. (The website is actually a university journal.)

Any further advice would be welcome.

Hi Oleg:

I tried your settings and am having the same negative result. The problem remains with the "Abstract" link in particular, as I described in my first message.

The "Abstract" links do work within MetaPro but not when I browse it outside of MetaPro. I need it to work outside of MetaPro. Exporting does not help

I find it strange because the other links on that right-hand frame do work.

Any insights?

Thanks,
Patricia

Can you export to an EXE file? It is the most compatible format for Web sites.

Thanks for the tip Oleg. But how would I do that? Do you mean selecting "Put files to 'Compressed EXE viewer' on the export screen?

Yes.
