Image resizing to fit browser window?

If you load an image in internet explorer and the image is larger than the browser window, the browser automatically resizes it so that the whole image fits. If you hover the mouse over the image it gives you a button in the bottom left to revert to the actual size (and back again). This is enabled via the internet options with the "Enable Automatic Image Resizing" option. For example, the following link is pretty big and is larger than my screen:

If I download it with OE and view it in the OE browser window this resizing does not happen. The only way to see the whole image at once is to spawn an internet explorer window. Is there a way to make the OE browser do the same resizing action as internet explorer? If not - could it be easily added/patched?

I am not sure about this. I will try to see if there is a way, but no guarantee that I will be able to find it.
