How to deal with ads

Hi

I am not sure how you are meant to download sites with a lot of ads on them. I don't want the ads, but if I open a downloaded site with firefox when I haven't downloaded the ads, I get multiple "site cannot be found" warnings (as I use it offline).

In my case I am attempting to download www.cprogramming.com
My settings are:
Addresses/URL: http://www.cprogramming.com/
No level limit
Do not download existing files
All filters are set using default URL filters
Skip the following URL's while searching: http://www.cprogramming.com/cgi-bin/cdir/ (this section seems to contain error pages)
Load from all protocols, directories and filenames
Custom servers configuration: included servers: cprogramming.com,
excluded servers: cboard.cprogramming.com (I dont want the forums)
Explore all possible subdirectories
Offline translation
All other settings are at the default setting.

I would suggest you to browse the downloaded sute inside Offline Explorer. This way the browser will not report you that it misses files.

Or you can export the site (File | Export) to some other format - HTML Help or an EXE file are the best ones.
