If a website has changed an is been updated offline, I seem to have understood, existing files are not deleted or it could be chosen to delete files when they does not exist anymore in updated website (correct me if I am wrong, I just begon with OE). Can it be managed so that let`s say homepage could be seen offline with links to files which are not anymore on original website added with new links that come from the updated site. Thank you.

I think, you mean to remove the files that are not linked to the pages anymore. If so, please add the following line to the Project`s URLs field and download it:

Additional=DeleteOldFiles

Thank you for your answer. My question was also, what if the oppostite is the case: a homepage with its links has changed online, but you want to preserve old links with files in html startpage offline in update beside new links.

I think, you could use File Copies feature in the Project Properties dialog - this way the previous version of the home page will be preserved and kept using another name. You will be able to access this file using the Project Map.
