How to abort and disable root pages without disabling those below?

Hello.. I`ve stumbled upon something I don`t know how to deal with..

If I set a project to download most of a site, but while it`s running I see that it links to the
root page, or a higher directory (I want lots of directories, so I cannot use the `below current dir`)
I then select the Abort and Disable on those.. This action seems to disable ALL directories/files below the aborted one.. i.e abort the root (e.g http://www.google.com/) then all disappears..

Do you have some advice on how to disable roots without also disabling those below..

I think, the best way is to use the Project Properties dialog and select "Load from the starting... " directory and server in the URL Filters section.

This works when it`s one server which carries all the data, however some of the sourcepages
links to very many servers, and those should all be downloaded, so this might not be an option.. Hmm, is there a way to disable the main file i.e the / on either a server or directory, without disabling the other files in those dirs?

To allow Abort & Disable to work correctly with those, without disabling an entire path there probably should be.. Something similar to the ^ and $ of the other filters perhaps?

One thing, I seem to remember that 3.9 didn`t have this problem?

Well, the previous version worked exactly the same way as 4.0. No change was made there. I am afraid, you will have to do this manually - copy the URL and then use URL Filters | Server or Directory section to disable it.
