hey everybody!!

i?m trying to download a forum from a website, because i don?t have any internet access at home. the download is working like mad, but i can?t access the forum in offline mode neither with internet explorer or firefox.

http://www.growbook.de/forum/

that?s the forum i?m trying to download and here?s the errormessage i get, when i try to click a link in offline mode:

"XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: nicht wohlgeformt
Adresse: file:///C:/download/www.growbook.de/forum/board.php@boardid=111&sid=119a84ced1c1433f15e1a2494ef131eb
Zeile Nr. 306, Spalte 56:<link rel="first" href="board.php@boardid=111&daysprune=1000&sortfield=lastposttime&sortorder=DESC&page=1" />"

any help/hint is welcome and appreciated :D

cheers,
marko

I just tried to download the forum and it works well. Can you please tell me, which particular link fails when you browse to it offline?

Best regards,

each and every time i try to enter the forum, regardless which link i click, i get the errormessage above. that?s when i click a link within IE or FF - links which are open within offline explorer are shown properly. i could use the workaround with offline explorer, but i want the files to be opened with any browser.

thanks for any help!!!!!

I didn`t face this at all - the links worked well inside Offline Explorer. What version of Offline Explorer did you use?

currently i?m using "offline explorer enterprise 3.9.2144 SR3" in order to download the forum.

i tried viewing the websites in firefox and internet explorer (both latest) and non of them seems to be able to display the websites the way they should be.

Does it work well offline when you browse it inside Offline Explorer? Perhaps you will need to export the downloaded site with Standard Extensions checked in order to view in FireFox.

viewing the site in offline explorer is a piece of cake :D it works perfectly!

i?ll give the export-function a try and report later!!
