Hello,

I attempted to download www.pm.gc.ca. For the most part, it downloaded well, but I do have one question:

How can I keep the functionality of the drop down list in the news area <http://www.pm.gc.ca/eng/news.asp>?

I tried exporting, no luck.
I tried enabling forms exploration, no luck.

Now I`m ready for some help from the experts.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Simply add the following URL to the Project and download it:

http://www.pm.gc.ca/eng/news.asp?category={:1..5}

Hello Oleg,

Thanks for the advice. I tried your suggestion, the site is still downloading, I`ll let you know if I am successful.

Having said that I must say that I`m a little concerned about the number of files OEP indicates that it is downloading. The previous download was approximately 4,400 files. The status bar on OEPro indicates that 299,2000 files have downloaded and 236,900 are parsing AND COUNTING...

yet when I check the properties of the file in Explorer there appear to be only 3,991 files in the folder. This number has not changed over the hours, yet the number shown in the status bar continues to increase. Any idea why there is such a large discrepancy between the two numbers?

I have gone into the files and checked the dropdown list and so far it does not work. I`m hoping it may work after all the files have been parsed.

Thanks !!

I think, you should stop the download and see if all links are working there. Is it so?

I stopped the download Wed. afternoon. I was curious to see what the results were. Info in the status bar: 761,500 files downloaded ;60,677 parsed. I checked the properties for the folder and there were 4,041 files in the folder.

All the files seem to be there. BUT, the dropdown list does not work.

Can you please see in the Project Map if there are files:

news.asp?category=1
news.asp?category=2
news.asp?category=3
news.asp?category=4
news.asp?category=5

?

I tried to download the site and the dropdown (with All News, News Releases, Speeches, Statements, Articles, Notices) was working when browsing it offline inside Offline Explorer. Or maybe I was looking at another drop-down?
