How to edit properties in multiple projects

I`ve been using Offline Explorer Pro (OEP) for years, tracking hundreds of websites every day for specific changes. Each website is tracked through a separate Project. These Projects are organized in different folders & subfolders.

I need to change certain properties settings in all -- or nearly all -- of these Projects. Among other things, I want to activate settings that did not exist when I created most of these Projects. I also want to edit the settings pertaining to the creation & storage of file copies.

But it is not feasible to manually edit the properties settings for each & every Project, one by one. After all, this is not likely to be a one-time task, since new settings will probably be added in the future that I will want to use in all -- or most all -- of my OEP Projects.

So, how can this be done?

Are the Properties settings maintained in the registry? If so, I could use a search & replace program to alter them (after making a backup copy of the registry).

Are the Properties settings maintained in INI files? If so, I could do a search & replace of those files.

Please let me know. And, if the Properties settings are inaccessible -- except through the graphical user interface -- then I would appreciate knowing if MetaProducts is planning to remedy this situation.

Sincerely,

All Projects are located in a single file with INI-like structure - Webdown.dat. However there is a way to change settings of multiple selected Projects - you can create a new template in the File | Templates section. Set some of the settings of the new template as you need and then apply the part of the template to the Projects you want.

I hope this helps.
