I`ve seen elsewhere in the forums that in Dec 2004 much work was done to improve RTSP over Proxy support... However, it still doesn`t work over here...
The link (for example http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/arts/ram/classic_serial_sat.ram) plays in RealPlayer without any problem, but in OE Pro it hangs:
Channel: RTSP0:
Status: Host rmv8.bbc.net.uk connected. Waiting for
URL: rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/arts/classic_serial_sat.ra
It doesn`t tell me, however, what it`s waiting for...
EtherPeek tells me the following is requested by OE Pro:
http://{proxyip}http://rmv8.bbc.net.uk:8080/SmpDsBhgRl632609c2-b457-11d6-8c75-00c0df030e23?1="1"
This request is repeated every 60 seconds...
When I play the URL with RealPlayer, I get a similar request, but without the port 8080.
Port 8080 is blocked by our firewall... But perhaps it is blocked in a way that OE doesn`t realize this and therefore doesn`t undertake to try the other ports 80, 554 etc... I think it would be best if OE would try to use Port 80 first, and then 8080, 554 etc...
Kind regard,
Bernd

OE cycling through the last three sent commands (GET, POST, POST) without any response every 60 seconds. I checked several times to be absolutely sure to use the exe you sent.
Kind regards,

Does it work?

Hi Oleg, this now works very fine! Thanks a lot for the prompt and very efficient response! Will this in any way be included in a future release? If yes, you just got yourself a new customer! :)
Kind regards,
Bernd
