Update Project (download modified files)

Does Restart-Download (Alt-F5) on a project with a File modification check set to: "only Modified and new files" do the same things as Update-Project (Shift-F5) on a project set to: "Download All Files"? Similarly, if Shift-F5 is used on a project with "Do Not download existing files" specified, does it still retrieve new/changed files?

...In short, which takes precedence: selected download type or project properties?

Thanks,
Josh

It is easier - all these things change the Project Properties first and then start the download. You can do either of Alt+F5, Ctrl+F5 or Shift+F5 and then look in the Properties dialog.

These keys are actually shortcuts when you need to change the Project`s setting and start the download.

So, just to clarify, the shortcut keys (e.g., Alt-F5) will modify a project`s properties and then begin the download. Will the modified project properties be saved (or does it use the modified settings just once)?

Yes, this is correct. The changes are permanent.
