Extract Only Printer Friendly Pages from News site

I just downloaded and am exprerimenting with Offline Explorer Pro.

What led to this is the fact that my local newspaper does not use dejanews, and their site really STINKS on a pocket pc.

What I would like to do is download only the "printer friendly" versions of the editorial pages from the sections that I`m interested in viewing.

I was trying today to do that for the editorial section.

Here is the main site URL:

http://www.stltoday.com

The editorial page is here:

http://www.stltoday.com/news/editorial

What I want OEP to do is to follow only links on the editorial page which begins with

http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/editorialcommentary/story/

And then within each of those subsequent pages to follow the links beginning with:

http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/emaf.nsf/Popup?ReadForm&db=stltoday%5Cnews%5Cstories.nsf&docid=

It is only the last set of pages that I really want to save to my hard drive, but I think I could work around it if I got the editorial page and the intervening story page.

I looked through the forum and couldn`t find a good parallel to follow. I also tried several attempts at doing this, but never could get the printer friendly pages to save...

Please advise, thanks.

Well, it is possible to do with the URL Substitutes feature - when OE downloads the printer-friendly URL instead of the actual article. You will find this feature in the Project Properties dialog | Advanced section. If you have problem making the rules, let me know and I will try to help you.
