Problems opening PDF and Text in downloaded files

|I have successfully downloaded a site with PDF and text files included. Everything works fine with IE 5.5. When I try to open a PDF from a downloaded page using IE6 in XP, nothing happens (same with a text file). I found that if I delete the first line in the HTML, the page works to open PDF`s, but now the HTML link from parent pages no longer opens the page. I am currently trialing the program, and if this can be fixed; I will gladly purchase.|

|Can you please tell me more about this? What Web page with PDF file did you load? I would like to reproduce the problem to try to find a workaround.

|Thank you, I was making a copy of some archived web pages from decipher.com. The specific pages start with : http://www.decipher.com/starwars/index.html
leading to: http://www.decipher.com/starwars/rules/index.html
which contains game rules in pdf and text (neither which open in IE 6).
Navigation to card images and other html files in the same folders work with no problem. Please let me know if I can give you any other info.

|It looks like something related with the MS IE security rules. I would suggest you to export to a CHM (HTML Help) file to avoid the problem.
