I entered your URL into the internal browser of OE Pro ... activated the add next clicked link as project and hit enter. I then added the SingleURL line so my project window contained the following:
I left all File Filters checked (it didn`t worked when I only checked Audio!), uncheked the Level Limit box, and used no special file filter designations.
I then started download and got 58 or so files in queue ... I then hit F9 to Pause the download, went to the queue tab and deleted all but the mp3 files from the queue ... I then un-paused the download and got all the files ... watch the queue because the last file loads several hundred pphp files ... I had to hit F9 again and delete the entir queue to complete the project.
I did not try to listen to the files but they are on my hard drive and have a byte count > 7,000 for each.
Hope this helps ... Oleg will probably have a better (and more efficient) solution!

Thank you for your help. This looks as a good solution.

I don`t think that is a good solution.
The files that are downloaded are way to small to be audio files.
They are actually HTML Error pages that have a .mp3 extension.

i also did make it to get mp3 files, but all had the same size 7.xxx bytes ..
to be honest, i tried some other tools and they didnt make it except one: net transport.
i had to click every page of the twelve mp3 pages but the rest was easy.
maybe you ll improve OE in case of mms recognizing and downloading, because for the non mms pages and links i like OE more than the other tools i tried.

|Thank you! I just improved Offline Explorer Pro and it will load these files correctly now. Here is the updated version:
Please let me know how it works.

|yeah! really nice and fast job.
but one thing id had left ;) maybe it s up to me, cause i m new to oe:
if i select at the protocol filter settings only mms stream to download from
i dont get anything. i mean can it be done to download only the mms streamed files, in this case mp3, and nothing else from the page ?
thx again for you good work :)
|felix||06/17/2004 10:57 pm|
|and a little addition ;)
are you able to download the files found under the bandlinks their ? im not :(
|felix||06/17/2004 11:02 pm|
|sry for mass posting.... of course i mean downloading AT ONCE in the last post..|
|Oleg Chernavin||06/18/2004 04:33 am|
|Thank you for pointing me to the issue with protocol filters. Just fixed it.
Regarding loading MP3 files from the second site - I used Level=2 and allowed downloading from /html/ and /sounds/ directories in URL Filters | Directory | Custom configuration.

|hi, why when i`m trying to download the .wma file from the mms protocol, the size length is always the same 3468? that .wma size should be about minimum 52 mb. so where`s the problem? the link is "mms://wms6.breakbeat.co.uk/dnb6/mixes/2004/11/BlackSunEmpire-November2004-128k.wma"|

I couldn`t download the link using MMS protocol. I had to use MMST instead. Anyway, OE always displays the length of audio/video streams in seconds (no matter what the column header indicates), so the length of the file is 3468 seconds (or approx. 58 mins), not bytes. I think you`ll find that if you download the whole file it will be several MB`s in size.
|Oleg Chernavin||01/27/2005 06:52 am|
|As far as I know, the file length is uncertain. You can calculate only an estimate of how many bytes the file will be long. It is because each audio/video frame is different in size and it will vary depending on the video complexity.
