On the advanced options page I can set "download completion by E-Mail" and set the name of an SMTP-Server. But I couldn`t find some parameters for the server (like authorization or ports).

Maybe I`m a bit dense here - but I couldnsanitized_by_modx& #180t find anything in the help file about this function :-(

Is there anybody out there who can enlighten me?

I just added the following way to Offline Explorer - you will be able to supply username and port:

user@smtp_server_name:port

The updated oe.exe file version is here:

Thanks Oleg for that quick solution:

> user@smtp_server_name:port

But alas I have to apply a password for the useraccount too. Sorry I can`t help it :-(

Yes, I understand. The code I am using now for SMTP doesn`t allow to specify the password. I will try to find some other code to implement passwords support.

I'm wondering if there is any new information regarding having OE send a notification email or just deposit a detailed log file in a specified directory?

I have tried to send an email, but have not been able to make that work. Really I don't need an email, just a log file for any URL's that were not able to be processed, or files that were not able to be downloaded.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

There is a log in Offline Explorer (Ctrl+Q) - you can setup its details level, save to file, etc. Also, you can record log to a file using command-line parameters - see in the Help file for more information.
