I`m trying to download from cyber.playboy.com. I get the html`s and some of the thumbs but not the jpg`s. I`ve noticed in the lower windo of Ofline explerer pro the message "Status 302 Object moved" in the status section while the program is downloading the html which should have the jpg. Does anyone have a way to work around this?

Perhaps you need to allow downloading from other servers.

Thank you, That did something. I left it running and it did pick up a few jpg`s but it placed itself in a loop. It seemed to be redirecting iself with all the channels doing showing a URL of:

http://cyber.playboy.com/members/playmates/files/2004/04/newWindow=http://newWindow=http:/imx/newWindow=http://imx/newWindow=http://store.playboy.com/imx/newWindow=http://imx/newWindow=http://newWindow=http:/imx/newWindow=http://newWindow=http:/newWindow=http:/imx/newWindow=http://newWindow=http:/imx/newWindow=http://store.playboy.com/

I tried selecting from URL Filters/Directory Custom directories and placed an exclude newWindow. By doing this I deselected "load files only in the starting directory and below" which is what I want. When I tried this, it just began downloading unwanted things from other servers and addresses.

So my questions are:
1) am I on the right track with the exclude command?
2) If I`m right with 1) then is there a way to addIs there a way to have a custom directory command and still load files from the starting directory and below?

Again, thank you for your help.

Yes, you are on the right track. Just switch to the Included list and press Ctrl-S.

This will add the starting directory to the Included keywords list and the Project will be allowed to downloaded from the starting directory and below.

Are you having any problems downloading some of the sites within the club? I can get some to work, but not all. If you are not having any issues, can you let me know what you have your settings at? They seem to change their login procedures often and every time I have to play around with the settings for a while.

Thanks,

Borg

I have been very successful. First, make sure you do the secure login from the internal browser so that the security is taken care of. That should solve most of your problems. If that`s not enough, then go to the properties | advanced |password section and put in your cyberclub login and password. After that, it should be a simple matter of using OEP like normal.

I have downloaded pictures, text files and movies without problem. I just haven`t tried any live stuff because I have a low speed connection.

I avoided downloading some of that promotional stuff by aggressively using the URL filter section to just specify the file names to be included. Occasionally, I also used directories to be included. However, I have restricted my self to doing one section at a time and set the directory to be starting directory and below. Eventually, when you have done multiple sections, you will see that the links between sections work, as long as you didn`t tamper with the location on the disk where the files are stored.

I can pretty much exclude everything else that way that I don`t want, without a lot of typing. I`ve never gotten an infinite loop. Sometimes I excluded the `newwindow`, but generally I haven`t needed to.
