I’ve had a few problems recently with OE failing when trying to autoexport a project after downloading – it only happens when I create the autoexport line at the same time as I create the new project. i.e.
1). I enter the URLM of the site I want to download (e.g. http://www.metproducts.com/),
2). Hit the enter key for a new line
3). Then to save time I use a keystroke short cut to enter - “Additional=AutoExport=c:\download\”
4). Enter the sub-directory I want use e.g. “Metaproducts”
5). Then I use another keystroke shortcut to enter “\;100100100;DeleteProjectFiles”
This results in 2 lines
http://www.metproducts.com/
Additional=AutoExport=c:\stripped\Metaproducts\;100100100;DeleteProjectFiles
When I save the project and download it OE fails with the following message “OE.exe has generated errors and will be closed and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.
When I restart OE and open the project properties the “\”s on the second line are changed to “/”s. i.e
Additional=AutoExport=c:/stripped/Metaproducts/;100100100;DeleteProjectFiles
If I manually change to “/” to “\”, save and download then all is OK.
Also if I enter the first line (e.g. http://www.metproducts.com/), then save open properties again and add the “additional” line then it saves it correctly and OE does not fail.
