Is this normal? Is there a way to get rid of it?

All it does is that whenever it meets a directory, it just download those files..

If the default page is a list of files available on the server, those correspond to the sorting links at the top of the default page.

They are diferent ways to sort the default page.
N=A Name Ascending
N=D Name Descending
M=A Modified Ascending
M=D Modified Descending
S=A Size Ascending
S=D Size Descending
D=A Desciption Ascending
D=D Description Descending
To exclude these pages from downloading, please use URL Filters | Filename | Custom Configuration | Excluded keywords list. Just add the following line there:
?[a-z]=[a-z]$
