Level Limit Bug

Hi! I am using the latest 2.8SR2 version of OE.. Really liked it a lot, but there seems to be a bug with the Level Limits.. For Example,

I put Level Limit as 1
I put viewtopic in the included filename filter
I put logon.php* and viewtopic?p=* in the excluded fielname filter in order to prevent duplicates..

Then I started downloading...
here comes the bug...

On the forum page, there is only links to viewtopic?p=????..
So, by right, I should only have viewtopic?p=????... downloaded..
However, viewtopic?p=????&view=previous is also downloaded..

The funny thign is viewtopic?p=???&view=previous would be treated as a 2nd level link, linked to viewtopic?p=???... But it is downloaded as well.. Is that a bug?

I would be out of town for abotu a week, but please try and fix this bug.. Thanks.. :)

Hello,

Thank you for the details. The first issue happens because you need to specify not viewtopic?p=* as an excuded keyword, but either:

viewtopic.php?p=*

or

viewtopic*?p=*

I just also fixed the Level bug. Thank you!

err... yeap.. I made a typo mistake... I did put viewtopic?p=* as the excluded keyword....
the main problem was the level bug.. Since you have fixed the level limit bug, is there a place where I am able to download the version of OE Enterprise that has that bug fixed? Thanks.. :)

Also, as a feature suggestion, is it possible to try and include a "Save Template" option directly from the Project`s template.. In other words, instead of creating a New template from thje start, it would be better to just save the template used for the project as a template..

To save a Project as template is very easy - just copy the Project, go to File | Templates, right-click there and paste the Project.

Regarding the fixed version - can you please wait for few days? If it is urgent, then please let me know.

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

MetaProducts Systems ("MPS") agrees to provide the user ("USER") with a copy of this software product ("SOFTWARE"), and grants the USER a limited license to use the SOFTWARE. ("LICENSE") This LICENSE defines what the USER may do with the SOFTWARE, and contains limitations on warranties, liabilities and remedies. This LICENSE may be revoked by MPS at any time without notice if the USER fails to comply with the terms of this LICENSE. The copyright and all other rights in the SOFTWARE shall remain with MPS.

LICENSE OF UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE

An unregistered copy of the SOFTWARE ("UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE") may be used by the USER for evaluation purposes for a period of thirty (30) days following the initial installation of the UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE. ("TRIAL PERIOD") At the end of the TRIAL PERIOD, the USER must either register the SOFTWARE or remove it from his system. LIMITATIONS OF USE

OTHER RESTRICTIONS

The USER may not rent, lease, sublicense, translate, disassemble, reverse engineer, or de-compile the SOFTWARE, or modify or merge the SOFTWARE with any part of the software in another program. This LICENSE may not be assigned or otherwise transferred without the prior written consent of MPS.

INVALID PROVISIONS

If any provision of this LICENSE shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this LICENSE shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. In such event, each provision of this LICENSE which is invalid or unenforceable shall be replaced with a provision as similar in terms to such invalid or unenforceable provision as may be possible which is legal and enforceable.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This LICENSE is the entire agreement between MPS and the USER, and supersedes any other agreement, oral or written, and may not be changed except by a written signed agreement.

GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
