I just improved such encrypted pages support. Please download the updated version here:

http://www.metaproducts.com/download/betas/oep1174.zip

Replace the old oe.exe file with the new one. It should process such pages properly.

that shows about:blank in the URL bar , i guess its the protection..

Hi Oleg,

and also like say i want to download all files from
http://www.eteachingcenter.com/newsletter/ downwards

e.g. all files in ../newsletter/2002 and ../newsletter/2003

i set the url as http://www.eteachingcenter.com/newsletter/ and set the URL filter to
`load files from starting directory and below`

is that right?

i got an Status 304 Not modified error.. for doing that..

just want to let u know, i really appreciate you helping me out here.

I just loaded both
http://www.uncletim.com/utfy/
and
http://www.uncletim.com/
URLs (as separate Projects) and didn`t encounter any problem. Try to create a Project with any of the above URLs and redownload the corresponding page (with Level=0). This should help.

Regarding the next site - 304 means that the file is already on your hard disk and it was not changed since the last download. I also tried to open http://www.eteachingcenter.com/newsletter/ in a browser and I got a message that no such page exists.

Hi Oleg,

thanks for providing such gd product support !

Regarding the files,
i cannot open it if i just open the default.html file(main page) in other broswers, i only can open it in Offline Explorer pro program. i hope to be able to open it in normal browsers too.

About http://www.eteachingcenter.com/newsletter, actually the directory exist, but through a normal web browser, the site does not allow users to List the files and directories inside. if you know the exact folder names u can enter it
e.g.
try http://www.eteachingcenter.com/newsletter/2000/nov15/

is there anyway that this wonderful product can allow me to list/know what the directories are inside? there is no password security involved!
or do u know of any other software that can show me what are the directories inside /newsletter/ ??

thanks again for all the support ;)

Well, listing all files is possible only if you have FTP access to the site. Then yes - you will be able to supply an FTP URL to Offline Explorer and it will load all files. But FTP access is enabled for site owners in most cases to update the site contents. So, there is no product that can list all files on a server accessing it as a Web site (not as FTP).

Sorry.

Oleg.

Can you try to Export the Project? This fixes most incompatibilities when browsing outside of Offline Explorer. However some problems may still happen, because there are some sites that protect themselves from being browsed offline. Since Offline Explorer contains its own internal Web server, it emulates online environment and offline browsing goes smoothly.

Hi Oleg,

i tried exporting it but i still can`t open it in normal web browser, i guess this site applies the kind of protection u mentioned, nvm, i`ll get my boyfriend to remove the javascript code manually..hehe

btw, thanks!
