Enter Network Password

Hi from a great fan of Offline Explorer.

Some of the sites I use give me access to "press" areas where I can dpwnload press releases, pictures, etc. A couple of these sites require me to log in via a dialog box called "Enter Network Password". I assume that these sites live in protected directories and that, rather than logging on to the application via a web form, this method does its validation directly with the server`s settings.

I`ve tried logging on via the internal browser, but this doesn`t seem to help.

Is this scenario possible?

Dear Malcolm Mactavish,

Thank you for writing us.
Do you use Offline Explorer Options dialog, Internet | Connection category`s box "Use Microsoft Internet Explorer cookies" checked?

Sincerely,
Alexander.

Hi Alexander

That works - thanks a lot. Now all I have to do is cope with the javascript links and the redirection to the index file on one of the sites. Life is interesting.

Thanks again

Malcolm
