In running a web site, I ended up with a queue over 2,4000. This number would flux from that high value down to 1,1000 and even down as low as 30. After hovering around 2,1000-ish, OE caused a blue screen and listed FWDRV.SYS as the cause.
I`ve ended up re-running the site, with tighter limits, but I still get the same BSOD. Sometimes the OS has crashed with smaller queue numbers (less than 800 queued items)
I have had the same results with the "Prevent download directories from overloading" box checked off and on. (found in the folder`s options/advanced/directories menu)
FWDRV.SYS doesn`t seem to exist on my other Win2K machine (server), so I`m assuming that it`s a Metaproducts file that is inserted into the %SystemRoot%\system32 directory.
Has anyone else had this problem?
TIA for any insight or help.
Thank you for the details. I have no idea what the fwdrv.sys is. We don`t have .sys files in any of our installation packages.
Can I ask you to try to run the same Project download on another computer where there is no such fwdrv.sys file installed? Does it fail the same way?
It is possible that the fwdrv.sys driver cannot handle the traffic amount and download speed that Offline Explorer Pro makes and fails somehow.

MetaProducts corp.
Kerio Personal FireWall.

Do you have either of these?
I Use The Proxomitron and don`t have any trouble.
I don`t know anything abou Kerio PFW.
If you have either one upgrade to the newest verions. It might be a conflict between them or another program. Maybe other program have fwdrv.sys or conflict with this.
