Just a quick lesson learned.
When downloading a Message Forum, OE Pro can get overloaded by the huge number of files it parses.
Through trial and error in trying to decrease download/update times, I discovered that by keeping my "number of connection" under options to 2, my download times are optimized.

I also have several different types of downloads in one project folder.
One downloads simply the "index" pages of the messages (all 650)
One downloads all the links just one level deep from all servers with no filters on anything on index page 1
One downloads only the message threads "filter on filename"="thread*" on the last five index pages, but image files are downloaded from anywhere with no filters.

By running the above sequentially in one project folder, once a day at night, I have a current and updated copy of the forum on my computer for reference. I have all the message threads without all the individual messages(saves a ton of space). I have all the image files wherever they may be. This works for me. Oleg helped me earlier this year as I struggled with trying to download and archive this forum as a reference for myself. His outstanding and prompt support convinced me to open my wallet and buy this program. The support here is in the top 1% in my experience.

I thought I`d offer this techniques on how I`m able to download a website with many links with minimal effort.

BTW, I`m running a Dell Precision M40 workstation, PIII, 1.2 GHz, 256MB RAM, WIN2K through a cable modem :-)

The only time consuming issue to date is that it takes approximately three days for me to export this to a CD once a month. This is my monthly archiving. If there was ever a way to speed up this process by simply exporting (hence only parsing) the new files, that would be great. Nonetheless, I am extremely satisfied and very happy with this product...and I tried very many products early this year.

I was working hard this week to improve parsing and queueing speed. There is some progress already. I plan to start working on a faster Export today or tomorrow.

i?ve tested the first version for some days now and i think its working good about the speed.
but i have noticed that oee crashed several times when i let it run over night.
(no error message but it was closed when i looked in the morning)

was this the bug you mentioned?
(i?ll try the new version now aswell)

Yes, probably that bug was fixed. Please test the update and let me know about its stability. I am going to release 2.7 version this week, if it works well.
