Mr. Chernavin,
I read how you solved the problem of downloading rtsp streams via proxy. It worked fine in my own case. I really admire your skills!
Could you help me with a similiar prob concerning mms streams? I am behind a proxy of the kind "proxy.***-***.de" with port 1755 that I have to use ...

Thank you very much.

Is it HTTP proxy? Can you use any SOCKS4 or 5 proxy server? You would be able to setup Options dialog | Proxy | HTTP to use SOCKS proxy and this should work for MMS streams as well.

Best regards,
Oleg Chernavin.

It is a special mms proxy - so bypassing by http or Socks doesn`t work.
By the way - I tried downloading by a internet connection without proxy (I don`t like to use it because it`s too slow) : This works with Streambox, but not with OE ...
Here is the URL I tried to download: mms://www.wi-im.uni-koeln.de/GzWS0203/Vorlesung05.asf

Do you know any public MMS proxy? I would like to see how it works and add such functionality to Offline Explorer Pro.

The server uses so-called MMST mode there. I plan to add its support to Offline Explorer Pro soon.

I didn`t find any public MMS proxy, but if you give me your email address, I`ll provide you the access to LRZ proxy ...
