Yahoo briefcase/photo albums downloads

Who does on properly set up with all filters etc, to download peoples pictures from their private photo albums, briefcases, profiles on yahoo.
And how to do it without downlading loads of other yahoo.com site files/directories.

I am pulling my already fragile overly bleached hair out trying to do this.
I should probably pull on my leg hair so I won`t have to shave so often.

Please help...anybody!!

An example of what I want to download is here:

http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/quickpenn ( I would like to download all of the files under this address)

and

http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/quickpenn/lst?.dir=/pics&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/ (this is a subdirectory of the previous one)

Note: these may be considered by some to be offensive pictures so do not look there if you are offended by such.

Thanks for any help.
If anyone knows and want to email me directly, my email is

There was an article on that topic in this forum. Can you please look at it here:

If the above doesn`t help, post a message here again and I will look into it closely.

Than you for that help. It did get me what I wanted but I have another related question.
Many, many other subdirectories get downloaded along with the desired ones, such as,
a1568.g.akamai.net
a708.g.a.yimg.com
auctions.yimg.com
gallery.yimg.com
gifs.launch.yahoo.com
i.us.rmi.yahoo.com
us.greet1.yimg.com
us.shop1.yimg.com
weather.yahoo.com

just to list a few.
Is there a way to filter to not get all of these (and others)?

It is a minor inconvenience, but it does waste bandwidth and time.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

This is not too hard - please go to the URL Filters | Server section in the Project Properties, select Custom configuration and add the desired servers to the Include keywords list. All other servers will be not loaded. Also, select "Load acording URL Filters" in the File Filters | Images section. Then click OK.

I am sorry but I am still having problems.
All of this worked for me one time, but on other occasions when I do the download, all I get are the thumbnail images from the initial page, not the large files the thumbnals represent which I desire to download.
Am I just an ignorant girl or is something else wrong.
I am sorry for such problems.

Thank you again for any help.

Can you please do the following - select the Project that downloads Yahoo photo albums in Offline Explorer, click Copy button, then paste it to some text file and send it as an attachment to support@metaproducts.com

I will look at how to improve the Project settings and let you know.

I looked there. You made several mistakes.

First, you included and excluded at the same time lst? and vwp? keywords - please remove them from the Exclude section. Next, you need to add

briefcase.yahoo.com

to the Included servers list. Please also check File Filters | Others, because they will be not loaded otherwise.

Hello, I did the changes you said, but now it downloads the entire page the large picture is on, rather than just the picture. The yahoo banner is there and all other kinds of stuff. I am hoping to be able to download just the large picture that the thumbnail picture represents in the album/briefcase.
I am sorry to be so much trouble.

This is the copy of the properties:

No problem with this. I will look at it tomorrow.

The problem is that most filenames have no extension there. Please try to add a single dot (.) symbol to the File Filters | Text extensions list (you will have to check Text on the left tree and uncheck it again after you add the extension). Then try to uncheck Other section, click OK and download it.

Does it help?

Sorry for being late with the answer. However when I tried to access that URL, Yahoo.com told me that "The File You Are Looking For Is Inaccessible". I signed in there with my Yahoo ID and password. Is the file access forbidden?

Hi this is Al,be sure to set your anti-virus software to scan all downloads before it lets you install them, also be sure to stay updated ( i reccommend norton system works because it has cleansweep different than windows version that will let you uninstall, or install only what you want to get. My advice to you for now is to delete everything you downloaded that gave the problem you have if you accidently delete something in windows you need to run good, search for file (sfc), find it double click on it , insert your windows disk and say replace it every time, this will repair any missing and or damaged files./ Hope this was helpful ( it works )
